EDUCATION SUPPORT TO THE POOR
Our main objective is to help the poor and the underprivileged in attaining quality education. This cannot be done unless we develop in them a love for highest form of arts, literature, sciences, history, philosophy, and other forms of education.
We seek to improve teachers and students in extremely depressed neighborhoods, while also improving the school infra-structure. We seek avoid all forms of hatred in achieving that various educational and intellectual goals. Of course we want the poor and the underprivileged to succeed in mathematics, sciences, and other subjects that help them fight their economic conditions, but we also seek that they develop love and dedications for all forms of intellectual pursuits as they enter their college life.
While we begin our work in depressed neighborhoods, to improve the environment for education, we begin our activities in 7th grade and advance to higher grades in successive steps. Our training methods include coaching after schools, teacher orientation and training sessions weekly, and upgrading the resources and other required infra-structure.
The significant part of IIMCT ( Indian Institue Of Merit Coaching Technique )methodology is to engage each student in project design activities on each subject after the daily school activities. This activity helps elevate IQ and encourages a higher level of thinking in each of the scientific and mathematic subjects. Our internet site under galleries includes examples of such presentations.
COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS:
Only merit tuition fee of the candidates can be considered, not donation fees. We only consider emergency scholarships, for mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, social sciences, when a student has scored very high marks, his/her family income is less than Rs. 3000/month, and he/she is likely to discontinue his/her education if we didn't support, he/she writes a summary about his future goals and demonstrates a will to achieve high profile results in his/her career.
The committee should evaluate each application according to these guidelines and even interview the candidate and assure that the established criterion is met. Students are also advised to apply to other trusts including GBK, we only provide over and above what they get from them.
EMERGENCY CHARITY IN SLUM AREAS:
If the students coming to our IIMCT schools are in depressed condition we provide emergency food assistance for the family, we also work in the neighborhood SLUM AREAS surrounding IIMCT schools, so emergency food is provided to the families so they can send other children to schools if they are staying home because of depressed condition.
Emergency food supply is for a temporary duration with a commitment of effort to provide crafts training to idle members of the family, so they can begin to earn their living. In this regard we may join with other organizations in the area for proper management and quick delivery of food and other supplies.
CRAFT TRAINING & CRAFT CENTERS:
We are dedicated to provide equipment to wherever CRAFT CENTERS can be opened around IIMCT schools so families can be trained to generate income for their family so they can earn to provide minimum food and expenses requirements of the family so they can send their children to IIMCT schools.
Once a family gets trained on various crafts we also buy required equipment so they can begin to generate income for their family. Our charity committee is dedicated to make occasional visits to assure that depressed families are adequately trained and provide whatever assistance possible for them to begin to generate income desperately needed.
We also hire and pay efficient instructors who are well trained and are dedicated to train depressed families free of charge. The instructors are also dedicated to find ways to supply paid orders of craft so income is generated to supplement income for the center so instructor salaries can be covered and required equipment can be covered through generating income.
